Many people have asked me me why I named this project Marco Money.
The answer is simple, and maybe even funny?
Marco Money is my year-long project to be a positive influence on my friends, family, and network by talking about what I believe is one of the most important topics in life: money.
Money affects almost every part of our lives, yet it’s something we rarely talk about. For a lot of people, it feels awkward or even taboo.
I’ve learned that most people won’t be the first to start a conversation about money. Especially their money.
So I decided I would.
Marco!?
That’s the idea behind the name. I’m calling out first, hoping someone answers back.
And it’s working.
People have been emailing me, sending DMs, asking questions, looking for a second opinion, or simply trying to better understand their situation.
We’ve talked about debt. Investing. Retirement. Budgeting. Big financial decisions.
Some of these conversations are with people who have never talked to me about money before. Some may have never talked to anyone about money before.
Those conversations matter. They lead to better decisions, more confidence, and real progress toward financial, and life, goals.
So here’s your reminder:
